IntroductionMicrosoft’s hardware is well known for being high quality, and they continue to bring new technologies to the front with Bluetrack™. The question is if the new technology works best on a mobility oriented product or is it better suited for a full size mouse? We will find this out through reviewing the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000. The Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 is one of the better mobility mice that Microsoft have produced, not being the range topper but still a very good offering at £44.99/$49.95. The feature list is extensive as well, ranging from the mainstay of the mouse; Bluetrack™ technology to others such as reliable a 2.4GHz wireless transceiver and a ten month battery life. I’ll be sure to update on if the mouse actually lasts ten months because I’ve burned through mice batteries very quickly before. Another feature is that the mouse has 5 programmable buttons; it also includes horizontal scrolling capabilities. Design wise, the mouse has a sleek black finish with chrome edges and rubber pads on the sides for additional grip. This makes the mouse look stylish in its small form factor. One of the most interesting design features is the thumb buttons. These sit toward the front of the mouse, on each side, meaning that both left handed and right handed people can use them with ease.
